Daniel Wandabula

Resident Bishop EAAC-UMC

Leadership is crucial in the Church worldwide. But at the present moment, Bishop Daniel Wandabula looks at leadership as being urgent in his Episcopal Area.

He says that the United Methodist Church in East Africa is faced with the need for good servant – leaders.

In the United Methodist Church of East Africa Annual Conference Bishop, District Superintendents, Elders, Deacons and Lay leaders must harness the energies of men and women, girls and boys to disciple vast numbers of new coverts, develop churches and evangelism huge numbers of unreached people

Every leader should be asking; “what is my passion? What am I called to do? Who is going to take my place? Who is God rising up? How can I help to encourage the coming leaders.

OUR STRUCTURE:

The local Churches are organized into districts, under the leadership of District Superintendents who provide leadership within the districts and in the conference.

In addition, each district has a dean of Superintendent who provides leadership in each of the five countries- Kenya, Burundi, Rwanda Uganda and Southern Sudan.
